He immigrated with his family to Yeoman, SK in 1904. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Navy in 1940 and served in England and in Dieppe. He was severely wounded in both legs and was discharged on May 12, 1943. He received the Meritorious Service Medal for bravery in the field. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 268 in Coronach, SK. Oliver passed away in 1960. FERGUSON, Ken WWI Ken moved from the USA to Liberty, Saskatchewan and filed for a homestead in the Addington area. He enlisted in the Canadian Army in 1914 and served overseas until he was killed in action. FIELDS, Earl WWII Earl was born in 1915 in Michigan, USA. He moved with his family in 1930 to homestead in Clashmoor, SK. He enlisted in the Army Infantry in June 1941 and was transferred to the RCEME as a Motor Vehicle Fitter to serve in Canada and England until his discharge on February 12, 1946. After the war, he married and ran the Post Office and Filling Station in Clashmoor. Earl is deceased.
