He enlisted in the Army and served with the 2nd Canadian A/T Regiment RCA, 20 Battery in England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany until his discharge. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Neville Branch 328. Allen passed away on February 17, 1981. CARLETON, Alvin Elwood WWII Alvin was born on June 15, 1922 on the family homestead in Saskatchewan. He enlisted in the Army in 1940 and served with the GNR 2nd Anti-Tank Regiment in England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany until his discharge in 1945. Alvin passed away on January 6, 1997. CARLETON, John “Jack” WWI Jack was born in 1897 in Arnaud, MB. He enlisted in the Army and served in England and Canada until his discharge. Jack passed away in 1962.
