The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 81 CHAMBERLAND, Pierre “Peter” WWII Peter was born on May 17, 1905. He enlisted with the Army Forestry Corps on May 21, 1942 and served in Canada during the Second World War until his discharge in 1946. He was married in 1932 and they farmed in Zenon Park and later in Arborfield. They sold the land in 1962 and moved to Prince George, BC. Peter passed away on December 19, 1981. CHASE, Arlos WWII Arlos was born on August 23, 1921 in Senlac, SK. He moved to the Moosedale area with his family in 1937 and he took up a homestead. He enlisted with the 14th Canadian Field Ambulance Corps on December 9, 1943 and served in Canada, England, France, Belgium, Holland, and Germany during the Second World War. He served with the O.C. Forces in Germany. He received his discharge in 1946. He received the following medals for his service: France and Germany Star, Defense Medal, King George and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. Arlos passed away on November 4, 1986. CHASE, Lloyd WWII Lloyd was born on October 22, 1917 in Senlac, SK. He moved to the Moosedale area with his family in 1937 and he took up a homestead. He enlisted with the 2nd Canadian Armed Brigade Tank Corps during the Second World War on April 19, 1942. He served in Canada, England, and was wounded in France. He received his discharge in 1946. He married while in England and they returned home to farm. He received the following medals for his service: Star of France and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. Lloyd passed away on October 6, 2003.
