The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 5 Message from the Premier of Saskatchewan On behalf of the Government of Saskatchewan, it is my distinct honour to provide greetings for the 9th Annual Military Service Recognition Book. The people of Saskatchewan are profoundly grateful to our current service personnel and Veterans for their courage and sacrifice in defence of our country. This publication is a great resource for our youth, and all those interested, to learn more about military history as well as the contributions of our Canadian Armed Forces who protect the freedoms we cherish as Canadians. Thank you to everyone who helped to make this publication possible, including the family members of the servicemen and women profiled in this book. Your support helps the Legion to continue to fulfill its role as the "Keepers of Remembrance". The Legion is also to be commended on the ongoing dedication to community activities for Saskatchewan's Veterans and their dependants.
