The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 57 BOSER, Joseph John WWII Joseph was born on December 17, 1918 in Reward, SK. He married Irene Ortman of St Walburg in 1940 and immediately enlisted in the Army during the Second World War. He served in England until 1945. The second eldest of seventeen children, he was a fine accordion player, loved music, people and parties, and carpentry work. He started the first dry-cleaning business in St Walburg and worked at constructing schools, seniors’ residences and houses. He and Irene raised nine children. During his senior years, Joe often visited the Medicine Hat Royal Canadian Legion. He passed away on August 3, 2006. His funeral luncheon was held there after a mass at St Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church. He is buried at Hillside Cemetery in Medicine Hat, AB. BOURASSA, Andre WWII Andre was born in 1924 in Radville, SK. He served with the Canadian Army in Canada during the Second World War. He passed away in 2008. BOURASSA, Arestide WWI Arestide was born in 1896 in St John, North Dakota, USA. He served with the Army in England during the First World War. He passed away in 1978.
