The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 453 WRIGHT, Reginald Dunning WWII Reginald was born in Tisdale, SK on November 29, 1923. He enlisted during the Second World War in Prince Albert, SK in August of 1940. He was sent to Tofino, BC for training. When sent overseas, he served in England, France and Germany with the North Saskatchewan Regiment. His job was to lay communication lines for his unit. He went ahead and prepared the way. He told stories of the many times he was in the grass laying the wire and the Germans marched by very close to him. He was seriously wounded, had broken ear drums but he recovered after a few weeks. On his return to Canada after his discharge in 1945, he owned an Auto Body Shop in Edmonton. He retired in Gunn, AB. Reginald was a member of the Onoway Legion Branch before he passed away on August 3, 2011. WRIGHT, W.T. WWII W.T. Wright served with the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Sergeant during the Second World War. WYATT, Peter PEACETIME Peter was born in 1932 in Beaver Dale, SK. He served with the Canadian Provost Corps in Canada, Germany with NATO, and Cyprus with the United Nations. He has been a member of the General Alexander Ross Branch 77 for thirty years.
