The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 447 WILSON, Harry WWII Harry was born on December 23, 1921. He served during the Second World War from November 30, 1943 to June 27, 1945 as a Private with the Canadian Army. He passed away on June 28, 1979. WILSON, Royal Frederick WWI Royal was born on August 1, 1899. He served during the First World War from April 17, 1917 to March 12, 1919 with the Canadian Expeditionary Force 44th Battalion as a Private in France, where he was wounded prior to his discharge. He passed away on September 25, 1971. WILSON, William Allan WWII William was born on December 12, 1919 in Lucky Lake, SK. He served with the Royal Canadian Artillery (South Saskatchewan Regiment) from November of 1941 to August of 1944. He was trained as signaller and operated a switchboard. He was discharged in 1944 due to health reasons. He passed away on March 17, 1985. For his service during the Second World War, William received the Defence Medal, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp and the War Medal 1939-45.
