He joined the Forestry Corp No. 20. He worked as a caterpillar mechanic in the Forces in the United Kingdom and Continental Europe during the Second World War. In 1944, he married a Scottish lady named Elsie George in Inverness Shire, Scotland. One week later, he tragically died of a bleeding ulcer on April 5, 1944. He is buried in the Abernathy Churchyard Cemetery in Nethybridge, Inverness, Scotland. WHITE, Raymond William WWII Raymond was born on June 12, 1919. He served during the Second World War with the Canadian Army from 1942 until 1946. He passed away on July 8, 2003.
