He served as Major with the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1955 until 1983. He passed away on August 26, 2008 in Middleton, NS. WEIBE, Heinrich WWII Heinrich served during the Second World War as Lance Corporal in Canada, England and Continental Europe with the R.C.E., 8th Canadian Field Squadron, 4th Division from 1941 until 1946. He was awarded the 1939-45 Star, France and Germany Star, Defence Medal and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp. WEINERT, Gerhard W. WWII Gerhard served during the Second World War in Europe with the Regina Rifles from 1944 until 1946. He grew up in the Choiceland area and had a trucking business in Nipawin. He married Mildred Lockwood of Nipawin in 1955 and he is presently living at Candle Lake.
