He served during the Second World War with the 101st L.A.A. Battery 8th L.A.A. Regiment R.C.A 4th Armoured Division as a Bombardier from November of 1941 to September of 1943. THOMPSON, Robert WWII Robert was born in 1899. He served during the Second World War as a Private with the R.C.O.C. from 1941 to 1945. He received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and the Defence Medal.
