The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 369 ST. PIERRE, Ed NATO Ed was born in 1937 in Crescent Lake, SK and spent his youth there and at Pebble Lake, SK. In 1950 at seventeen years of age, he joined the NATO Special Forces in Central Europe where he served for three years. He was a member of the infantry where he worked as an Anti-Tank Gunner and with the Long Range Artillery weaponry. After his military service, he worked for Veterans Affairs and thereafter the militia for thirteen years. Ed and his wife Harriet live in Yorkton, SK where Ed has been an active member in the community donating his time to The Royal Canadian Legion, Aboriginal Peoples Advisory Board and Native Employment Development. Ed is the father of three sons and one daughter. He has been a member of Alexander Ross Legion Branch 77 in Yorkton, SK. STAFFEN, Arthur F. WWI Arthur was born on August 12, 1912. He was a Stocker First Class with the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve and served during the First World War from December of 1942 to October of 1945. He passed away on April 17, 1976. STAFFEN, Clarey WWII Clarey was born in 1915. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force and served as a Corporal from 1942 to 1946 during the Second World War.
