The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 307 POCOCK, Arnold BOER WAR Arnold was born in 1881 in Swindon, England and immigrated to Canada in 1905. He served in the Boer War from 1898 to 1902 with the British Cavalry. He passed away on May 26, 1905. POCOCK, Brian Ferris WWII, PEACETIME & RCMP Brian served in the Canadian Army as a Corporal from February of 1943 to November of 1945. He re-enlisted in the Canadian Army in 1945 and served until 1965, and then joined the RCMP where he served until 1980. POCOCK, Clifford Archie WWII Clifford was stationed in Camp Shilo, MB with the 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion. He served as a Private/Sapper during the Second World War with the 6th British Airbourne from 1943 to 1947 and took part in the Normandy landing. He also served in northwest Europe. After the war, he served in the #1 Road Engineer Company on the Alaska Highway and with Maintenance Engineers in White Horse, Yukon. Clifford passed away on September 7, 1926.
