The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 303 PELLERIN, Omer WWI Omer was born on June 21, 1889 in Ste Sophie, Compté Mégantic, Québec. He was conscripted into the Army in late 1917 and served during the First World War. He passed away on January 17, 1982. PENNER, Isaac Abraham WWII Isaac was born in 1918. He was a member of the 405 City of Vancouver Pathfinder Squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Force and served as Sergeant Flight Engineer during the Second World War. He was shot down in his Halifax at Duisberg during a night attack on Dusseldorf. He is buried at Reichswald Forest War cemetery in Kleve, Germany. His parents homesteaded in the Lost River District. He passed away on April 27, 1943. PENZES, Istvan “Steve” PEACETIME Steve was a member of the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry and served as Sergeant from 1964 to 1992. He was awarded the CD1, Cyprus (2), Special Service Medal and Peacekeeping Medal.
