McBRIDE, William Robert WWII William was born in Deloraine, MB in 1926. His family moved to Semans, SK in 1935. At the age of 17, he enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force R284729 as a Sergeant (Flight Engineer) and served in Canada during the Second World War. He was discharged in 1945. He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1950 with a Professional Engineer degree. He married in 1951 and had three children. He practiced in Swift Current, SK; Calgary, AB; Kamloops, Vancouver and Kelowna, BC. He was a member of the Vancouver Chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA 85) and a founding member of the Kelowna EAA 433. He built and flew a Jodel D9. He was a member of the Semans Legion Branch 108 before he passed away in 1974. McCLINTICK, Arthur Ross WWII Arthur was a Guardsman with the Canadian Army and served with them during the Second World War.
