The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 239 MAY, David Arthur WWII David was born in 1918. He took his schooling in Nipawin and later moved to Nova Scotia. He was a graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada and served as a Captain in the 12th Field Regiment of the Royal Canadian Artillery during the Second World War. He was killed on February 27, 1943 while serving with the Ayreshire Yeomanry Royal Artillery in North Africa and is buried at the Medjez-el-Bab War Cemetery west of Tunis in Tunisia. MAY, J. W. R. “Bill” Bill was born to Bob and Henrietta May of Harris, SK. He served as a Corporal in the Royal Canadian Air Force. Bill has since passed away and his ashes are buried in the Harris Cemetery in his hometown of Harris. MAY, Kenneth A. WWII Kenneth was born in Harris, SK to Bob and Henrietta May. He served in the Canadian Army as a Gunner during the Second World War. He was killed in action in February of 1945 and is buried in Brussels, Belgium.
