The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 231 MACK, Leo Frank WWII Leo was born on a farm in Vibank, SK. He was recruited in the Army in 1943 during the Second World War with the Regina Rifles Regiment and was sent overseas. He was in Normandy when the war ended. He went back home to Vibank to take up farming with his wife and daughter. Together, he and his wife had six boys and a girl. He passed away at the very young age of forty-five due to complications when he was in the Army, leaving behind a very young family but all are doing well on their own. MacMILLAN, Donald N. WWII Donald was born in 1924. He served as an Able Seaman with the Royal Canadian Navy Volunteer Reserve from July of 1942 to February of 1946 during the Second World War. He passed away on June 14, 1992. MAKSEMIUK, John WWII John was born on July 13, 1923 in Sheho, SK. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Air Force on June 26, 1942 as an Air Frame Mechanic in Canada until his discharge on October 18, 1945. He married Bella Moroz on July 20, 1943 and they had two children. He was President of the Sheho Legion Branch for one year and was a member of the Branch for many years before he passed away on February 5, 1992.
