MacGREGOR, Roy M. WWII Roy served as a Sapper with the Royal Canadian Engineers from 1942 to 1945 during the Second World War. MACK, Adam P. WWII Adam was born on November 9, 1919 in Vibank, SK. He was raised on a farm and was recruited into the Army in 1944 during the Second World War. He was with the Regina Rifles Regiment then was sent to do more training in Prince Edward Island and in Halifax. They were on the boat to go overseas when one of the guys came down with measles, so they were quarantined for three weeks and by that time, the war had ended. He was discharged in 1945 and went back to Vibank where he farmed with his father. He met his wife Agatha in 1945 and they were married in 1946. They have five children - four boys and a girl. He lived to the ripe old age of 82 when he passed away. His wife, Agatha, lives in Regina and three of his children live in Regina, one in Saskatoon and one in Edmonton. He had a good life with his family and his grandchildren.
