He served as a Corporal with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police from 1969 to 1995. MacDONALD, John WWII John served as a Corporal with the South Saskatchewan Regiment in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany from 1940 to 1945. MacFARLANE, Colin Donald WWII Donald was born in Viceroy, SK on December 13, 1924. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force on October 14, 1943. He was stationed in Edmonton, Regina, Rivers, Winnipeg, Calgary, Vancouver, Port Hardy, Penhold, Lethbridge, Halifax and Swift Current. He was released from Depot in Regina on March 29, 1946. He farmed near Viceroy and raised Arabian horses. He took Pilot training in Moose Jaw, had an Aerial Crop Spraying Business, and did voluntary emergency airlifts. He did a lot of volunteer work, sports, and baseball in his community. He is married with two daughters, and has been a member of the Viceroy and the Assiniboia Legion Branches for many years.
