The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 219 LINDMAN (ABAR), Mary Eleanor WWII Mary served as a Private with the Canadian Women’s Army Corps from 1945 to 1946 during the Second World War. LINDMAN, Gordon WWII Gordon served with the Lake Superior Regiment as Lance Corporal from 1941 to 1946 during the Second World War. He was stationed in England until the invasion of Normandy. He was in France, Belgium and Germany as a Vickers machine gun gunner until D-Day. He remained in Holland for six months before returning home. He was awarded the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal, France and Germany Star and the Defence Medal 1939-1945. He is now living in Mission, BC. LITTLE, Joseph William “Bill” WWII Bill was born in 1909. He served as a Private from October 12, 1940 to January 28, 1946 with the Royal Canadian Engineers during the Second World War. He received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal, Defence Medal and Long Service. He passed away on June 11, 1987.
