The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 205 LANGRIDGE, Bill WWI Bill was born in 1896. He served with the 33rd Overseas Battalion C.E.F. as a Lance Corporal from 1915 to 1916 during the First World War. He was listed as missing-in-action on June 2, 1916 and his body was never found. His name is on the Menin Gate War Memorial in Belgium. LANGRIDGE, Cyril T. WWII Cyril was born on June 18, 1907. He served overseas with the Canadian Army, Prince Albert Volunteers from 1943 to 1945 during the Second World War. Cyril passed away on July 1, 1959. LANGRIDGE, Harvey KOREA Harvey was born on May 25, 1932. He joined HMCS Unicorn in 1951. After basic training at HMCS Cornwallis, he trained as a radar plotter in Halifax for six months. His first ship was the HMCS Micmac, on which he spent six months in the Mediterranean. He continued training at HMCS Naden after which he sailed on HMCS Crusader in Korean waters for fifteen months, then back to Naden and to HMCS Ontario. He served from January 21, 1951 to December 25, 1956. He was a Group Leading Seaman at discharge. He was awarded the UN Medal for the Korean Campaign.
