KRIWOKON, Henry WWII Henry was born on January 26, 1920 in Kealy Springs, SK. He enlisted in the Army in Vancouver, BC with the British Columbia Regiment and served with the Ordinance and E.M.E. in England in bow workshops during the Second World War. His job was on all big guns and tanks. His service ended on October 20, 1944 due to illness. Today, he is now a 95-year-old retired soldier. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion for fifty years. KUCHIRKA, John WWII John was born in 1923 in Ukraine. He enlisted in the Army and served in Canada during the Second World War. After his discharge, he farmed in the Shipman area. He also married and had two sons. He was a member of the Smeaton Legion Branch 319 for four years before he passed away on November 30, 2014.
