KERR, Lloyd Winston WWII Lloyd was born on August 25, 1918 in Wawota, SK. He served with the R.C.N.V.R. as a Leading Seaman from 1940 to 1945 during the Second World War. He served on the minesweeper HMCS Malpeque and later on the HMCS Hamilton at the Cornwallis Naval Training Base. When he returned from the war, he farmed in Saskatchewan and ran the Co-op store in Torch River from 1966 to 1983.
