In 1912, he filed for a homestead and was approved. He enlisted with the Canadian Armed Forces during the Second World War and served until the end of the war. He married in 1925 and raised three children. They eventually moved to Crooked River where he retired. Garnet is deceased. CUMMINGS, Gordon WWII Gordon was born on April 5, 1917 near Arborfield, SK. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Air Force on November 6, 1941. He served with the 6th Group Bomber Company in Canada and England until his discharge on October 10, 1945. After the Second World War, he married and moved to Powell River, BC. Gordon is deceased. CUMMINGS, Harold WWII Harold was born in 1912 near Arborfield, SK. He enlisted with the Army on June 3, 1942. He served with the Canadian Intelligence Corps in Canada until his discharge on May 29, 1946. He was also a Pacific Volunteer. After the war he married and moved to BC. Harold is deceased.
