The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 99 COOMBE, Roy Fredrick WWII Roy was born in 1921 in Prince Albert, SK. He joined the Army and was a member of the Royal Regina Rifles and served in Canada, England and Italy during the Second World War. He was a Corporal with the Saskatoon Light Infantry when he was killed in action at the Moro River Crossing in Italy on March 21, 1944. CORBETT, James WWII James was born in 1890. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Air Force on July 11, 1941 and served as an Air Gunner until his discharge on September 12, 1945 with thirteen operations to his credit. After the Second World War, he married and later moved to Saskatoon, SK. James passed away in 1951. COULTER, Ross WWII Ross was born on May 3, 1919 in the Armley area and moved to Connell Creek, SK in 1934. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Air Force on May 22, 1943 and served as a Wireless Mechanic in Canada until his discharge on October 12, 1945. After the Second World War, he married and ran a garage and repair shop. He then moved to Rose Valley to run a hotel until his retirement. Ross is deceased.
