The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 83 CULHAM, Ernest E. WWII Ernest was born in Central Butte, Saskatchewan in 1918 and came to Quill Lake, Saskatchewan in 1919. He joined the Army and served with the South Saskatchewan Regiment in Canada, England, France, Belgium, and Holland. He was wounded and medically discharged. Ernest married and had two children. CULHAM, Stewart WWII Stewart was born in Quill Lake, Saskatchewan in 1923. He joined the Army and served three months in Canada with the South Saskatchewan Regiment before being medically discharged. He died in 1995 and was buried in Quill Lake Cemetery. Stewart never married. CURRAN, A. W. WWI Private Curran served during World War I with the 1st Canadian Mounted Rifles, Saskatchewan Regiment. He was killed in action on June 2, 1916 and is buried at Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial leper, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium, Grave Reference Panel 30 and 32.
