She served with the CWACs in Canada from February 9, 1943 and until leaving as a Corporal on November 30, 1945. Ruby married Elmer Peters and became a member of the Nutana Legion Branch 362. PORTFORS, Brian PEACETIME Brian was born on February 15, 1953 in Barrie, ON. He served as Leading Seaman in the Navy in Canada from 1969- 1973. Brian married and became a member of Nutana Legion Branch 362. POULTON, Donald WWII Donald was born in Masefield, SK in 1923. He served in the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps in Canada and England from 1943 to March 1946. A farmer, Donald married, had 2 children, and died in 1999. POWELL, Edmund Angus WWII Edmund was born on September 14, 1918 in Saskatchewan. He served as a Flying Officer in the RCAF until June 1946. N. Preston was born on July 28, 1912 at Yorkton. He joined the Army on July 1, 1941 and served as Guardsman with the 16/22nd in Canada and overseas until December 31, 1945.
