He also lived in Clair, Saskatchewan. During World War I, William served 4 years with the British Army in Canada, Great Britain and France where he was wounded. He also served 4 years in the Veterans Guard at Dundurn, Saskatchewan during WWII. William married and had 2 children. He died in 1971 and is buried in Clair, Saskatchewan. WRIGHT, Harry WWI & WWII Harry was born in London, England and came to Canada in 1908, then on to Quill Lake, Saskatchewan. During World War I, he joined the Canadian Expeditionary Forces and served with the 65th Battalion in Canada, France, Belgium, and Germany. He also served during the Second World War with the Home Guards at German prisoner-of-war camps in Ontario. Married with three children, Harry died in 1961 and is buried in British Columbia. WRIGHT, Phyllis WWII Phyllis was born in Quill Lake, Saskatchewan. She served with the Canadian Women’s Army Corps in Canada during World War II. She married and had 4 children. Phyllis died in 2006 and is buried in British Columbia.
