The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 421 WEESE, Clinton James WWII Clinton was born on February 9, 1923 in Kelfield, Saskatchewan. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in June 1942 and took his training as a radar technician in Trenton, Ontario. In June 1943, he went overseas and was stationed near York, England where he checked and repaired bomber radio equipment. After his discharge in February 1946, he became an R.M. secretary and in 1949, married Faith Augustin with whom he raised three sons. Clinton was a member of the Legions in Kelfield and Plenty for thirty years before he passed away on March 26, 1996. WEIGEL, Ernest W. WWII Ernest was born in Wynyard, Saskatchewan in 1920. He served in the 2nd Division of the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps in Canada, England, France, Belgium, and Holland. He was wounded in action. Ernest, a farmer and a tinsmith, married and had 2 children. He was a member of Quill Lake Legion Branch 37 for thirty-seven years before he died in 1983. He is buried in Quill Lake Cemetery. WEISS, Gordon A. WWII Gordon was born on February 7, 1925 in Regina. He joined the Army in March 1943 and served as a Trooper with a reconnaissance regiment in Canada, the United Kingdom and Northwest Europe before leaving the service in March 1946. He married and has been a member of Nutana Legion Branch 362.
