The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 39 BECK, Harry G. WWI Harry was born in Manitoba and lived in the Gardenia District. He married Miss Mears and they had three sons and two daughters. Harry joined the Canadian Army and served as a Lance Corporal with the Saskatchewan Regiment of the 1st Canadian Mounted Rifles in Canada, England, France, and Belgium where he was killed in action on March 31, 1916. BELL, Frank G. WWII Frank was born in Clair, Saskatchewan in 1917. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and served in Canada and England as a Warrant Officer with the 35th Royal Air Force Squadron. Killed in action over France in 1943, Frank was buried at St. Désir-Calvados. BELLS, Edgar M. WWII Edgar was born in Clair, Saskatchewan in 1922. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and served with the 10th Bomber Reconnaissance Squadron in the North Atlantic off the coast of Newfoundland on missions relating to U-Boats and escorting convoys.
