The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 381 TENNANT, Robert B. WWII Robert was born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1919. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and served with the 8th Group Pathfinders Squadron in Canada and England from 1941-1945. After his discharge, he became a civil engineer, married and had 6 children. Robert resides in Saskatoon where he is a member of The Royal Canadian Legion. TENNENT, David L. WWII David was born in Scotland in 1925. He joined the Canadian Army and served as an infantry instructor with the Coastal Artillery, AntiAircraft, in Canada from 1943-1945. After his discharge, he became a lawyer and practiced in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. He was a member of Yorkton Legion Branch 77 for sixty-two years before he died in 2008. David is buried in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. TERRY, Floyd L. WWII Floyd was born in Saskatoon on July 13, 1921. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force on May 25, 1942 and trained as a radio mechanic at Lachine and Montreal, Quebec, spending his entire RCAF career at Deseronto, Ontario servicing radio equipment at the Blind Approach Flying Training School. Floyd left the service on September 26, 1945 then worked briefly for a furniture company before joining Bell Canada in Montreal as a radio technician. Married with three sons, Floyd was active as a coach for his sons’ baseball and hockey teams. He retired early and moved back to Saskatoon.
