The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 375 SULLIVAN, Brian D. J. PEACETIME Brian was born on September 21, 1942 in Montreal, Quebec. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve on October 8, 1959 and served as Petty Officer First Class until he left the service on June 2, 1988. Brian married and served as general manager of Nutana Legion Branch 362 in 1993 and 1994. SULLY, Raymond G. WWII Raymond was born in Biggar, Saskatchewan on June 15, 1921. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in Saskatoon on March 10, 1942 and trained as an airframe mechanic, serving in Canada with RCAF 8 Bomber Reconnaissance Squadron inBritishColumbiaat Sea Island, Port HardyandPat Bay. Corporal Sully left the service inCalgary froma transport squadron on July 15, 1945. He thenwas a salesman for Reliance Lumber Co. from 1946-1950 in Biggar, then branch manager from 1950-1970. Raymond moved to Saskatoon in 1971 and was a salesman for Birney’s Sports Centre until 1975, at which time Al Anderson Sports took it over and hemanaged the store until he retired in 1980. However, he stayed on for another four years. Raymond served on the vestry of theAnglicanChurch at Biggar and served on the Biggar School Board. He also coached minor league baseball. In Saskatoon, he works with seniors through the Kiwanis Club woodworking program. Raymond married and had a son and a daughter. SULZ, John A. PEACETIME John was born on January 25, 1930 in Davidson, Saskatchewan. He joined the Army on January 15, 1953 and served in the Royal Canadian Armoured Corps until he left the service on September 1, 1953. John married and became a member of Nutana Legion Branch 362.
