He joined the RCMP on November 1, 1966 and served until April 1969 as Constable. Ed married and joined the Legion at The Pas in Manitoba before transferring to Nutana Legion Branch 362 in 1970. SIMPKIN, Alfred J. KOREA & SPECIAL DUTY AREA Alfred was born on April 22, 1931 in St. Boniface, Manitoba. He joined the Army on May 7, 1951 and served with the Royal Canadian Engineers in Canada, Korea and Egypt. Corporal Simpkin left the service on January 12, 1967 and was awarded the Canadian Forces Decoration. Alfred married and became a member of Nutana Legion Branch 362. SINCLAIR, Frank WWII Frank was born on June 23, 1922 in Broadview, Saskatchewan. He joined the Army in June 1941 and served in the 110th Field Battery Artillery in Canada, the United Kingdom, Italy and Northwest Europe. He left the service in December 1945 as Gunner. Frank married and became a member of Nutana Legion Branch 362.
