The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 345 SCOBEY, Edward F. KOREA Edward was born in Regina, Saskatchewan in 1928. He joined the Army and served with 23 Transport Corps of the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps in Seoul, Tokson, Panmunjom and Imjin River, Korea. After discharge, the family farm shut down so he went to work for the Mannix Co. in Calgary then worked mostly in remote areas in the Northwest Territories, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Newfoundland. In 1973, Edward became ill with ulcers and colitis and was hospitalized and off work. He worked on and off until 1981 when he had to have several operations. Edward now lives on the farm and supports the local Legion. SCRACE, C. T. WWII & PEACETIME C. T. Scrace was born on October 22, 1911 in St. Jean, Quebec. He served with the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry in Canada from September 1931 until leaving the service in September 1949 as Warrant Officer First Class. He has been a member of Nutana Legion Branch 362 and has a son. SEABROOK, Harold Andrew Francis WWII Harold was born in 1919 in Aiklow, Saskatchewan. He joined the Royal Canadian Navy and served on the Prince David on the high seas in the Atlantic Zone as well as in the Pacific Zone, the Medium Zone and Northwest Europe. Harold was a member of Moose Jaw Legion Branch 59 for forty years before he passed away in 2004.
