The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 31 ATWOOD, Dean WWI & WWII Dean was born in Alexandria, Minnesota, USA. Dean came to Quill Lake, Saskatchewan in 1926 and also lived in Wimmer. He served in Canada during World War I and II, in the Army and the Air Force. Dean adopted two children with his wife, Georgina. He died on February 23, 1977 and is buried at Carrot River, Saskatchewan. BABIUK, Perry PEACETIME Perry was born in Canada around 1950. He joined the Army and served with the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry from 1971 to 1974. Perry was a member of Quill Lake Legion Branch 37 for six years before he died in 1997. BABIUK, Scott PEACETIME Scott was born in Quill Lake, Saskatchewan. He joined the Royal Canadian Regiment, Duke of Edinburgh, and served from 19881991 in Denmark and Germany as well as in Cypress in 1990 in Peacekeeping. Scott has been a member of Quill Lake Legion Branch 37 for ten years.
