The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 323 ROLAND, Theodore Adolf WWII Theodore was born in Cymric, Saskatchewan on August 15, 1920. He joined the Army in May 1942 and served with the Regina Rifles in Canada, the United Kingdom and Europe. He was discharged on December 31, 1946. Theodore was awarded the 1939-45 Star, the France and Germany Star, the Defence Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp, the Normandy Medal, the King George VI Medal and a letter of thanks from General B.L. Montgomery. He has been a member of Govan Legion Branch 257 for fifty-two years. ROSEBERRY, Cecil F. PEACETIME Cecil was born on December 8, 1922 in North Battleford. He enlisted in November 1961 and served in the North Saskatchewan Regiment until leaving the service in December 1962. Cecil married as has been a member of Nutana Legion Branch 362. ROSS, Ainsley Bruce “Bud” WWII Bud was born in Tompkins, Saskatchewan in 1912. He joined the Army and served during World War II in Canada, England, Holland and Germany. Bud was awarded the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal, the 1939-45 Star and the Special Service Medal from Holland. After his discharge in 1946, he farmed at Battle Heights, Saskatchewan and retired in 1969. Bud was a member of Carrot River Legion Branch 186 for forty years before he died in 1992.
