The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 303 POULTON, Harry WWI Harry was born in England in 1894. During World War I, he joined the Canadian Expeditionary Forces and served as a Private with the 46th Battalion in Canada, England and France. After being wounded at Vimy Ridge, he was medically discharged. Harry married and had two children. He died in 1970 and is buried in Quill Lake Cemetery. PROSKO, Peter P. WWII Peter was born in Buchanan, Saskatchewan in 1921. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and served in Canada between 1942 and 1945. Peter farmed, got married and had 2 children. He died in 1983 and is buried in Saskatchewan’s Watson Cemetery. PUCKEY, Paul WWII Paul was born in Cornwall, England on December 10, 1919. He enlisted in Saskatoon on April 25, 1941 and served in the RCAF construction units at various places in Canada. Sergeant Puckey left the service in Regina on June 21, 1945. He married and had a son and two daughters. After Paul left the service, he worked with Veterans Land Administration, retiring in 1979 as Regional Director for VLA’s western region. He has been a member of The Legion for more than 50 years and served as secretary and president of Meota Branch 16. Paul now lives in Glaslyn, Saskatchewan.
