He enlisted in the Army on June 20, 1942 at Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. He served in the South Saskatchewan Regiment in Canada and Northwest Europe and left the service on August 21, 1945. Private Poncelet became a prisoner of war in Normandy and spent several months in Saxony at a German prison camp. Jack married and had four sons. POTTS, Harvey J. WWII Harvey was born on January 3, 1919 in Plumas, SK. He joined the RCAF on May 19, 1941 and served as a Flying Officer in the United Kingdom, Africa, the Middle East and Arabia before leaving the service in 1945. Harvey married and became a member of Nutana Legion Branch 362. POULIN, Leopold Joseph WWII Leopold was born at Ravenscrag, SK in 1914. He joined the Army and served with the 24th Field Regiment as Battery Quarter Master Sergeant, primarily in the Aleutian Islands. Leopold had been a member of Shaunavon Legion Branch 40 for 18 years before he passed away in 1963.
