The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 291 PETE, Jacob RCMP Jacob was born on December 4, 1941 in Marsden, Saskatchewan. He joined the RCMP on August 10, 1962 and left the service in June 1966. Jacob married and became a member of Nutana Legion Branch 362. PETERS, John Wayne PEACETIME John was born on February 2, 1947 at Warman, Saskatchewan. He enlisted on January 20, 1966 and became a naval storeman, serving on the high seas out of Halifax on HMCS Assiniboine and HMCS Iroquois. Leading Seaman Peters left the service on December 15, 1972 in Halifax. He married, had five children, became a salesman and sales manager, and is now marketing and support manager for CAPA Software Corporation, traveling a great deal throughout Canada. John joined The Legion at Clementsport, NS and transferred in 1975 to Nutana Legion Branch 362 where he has held a number of committee positions. John was first and second vice-president before being elected president in December 1995. PETIT, Claude KOREA Claude was born on October 31, 1935 in Duck Lake, SK. He enlisted on December 21, 1951 and served in Korea as a Corporal with the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry until he left the service in May 1966. Claude has been a member of the Nutana Legion Branch 362.
