The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 283 PARKINSON, Roy C. WWII Roy was born in Edmonton, Alberta. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Army in June 1940 and served with the 15th Field Regiment Artillery in the United Kingdom and Northwest Europe. Roy left the service on February 6, 1946 with the rank of Regimental Quartermaster Sergeant. He is a Life Member of Nutana Branch 362 and served as recording secretary of the Branch as well as secretary-treasurer of Legion Manor. Roy passed away on July 11, 1995. PATON, Keith D. WWII Keith was born in Melita, Manitoba in 1917. In the spring of 1942, he enlisted in the Air Force in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan in Airframe Construction and Assembly. Keith went overseas in 1943 and served as a Leading Aircraftman with No. 12 SFTS in Dishforth, England and was posted to Uterson in Germany in 1943 where he remained until early 1946. He received his discharge in the spring of 1946. Keith has been a member of Oxbow Branch 187 for fifty-five years. PATTON, Clarence F. PEACETIME Clarence was born in Pennsylvania, USA. He enlisted in the US Army on February 8, 1951 and served with the US Signals Corps in Europe. Sergeant Patton left the service on February 6, 1959. Clarence became a mechanical engineer and has been a member of Nutana Legion Branch 362.
