The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 221 MacGILLIVARY, Malcolm WWII Malcolm was born in Dalkeith, Ontario in 1916. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force during WWII and served as a Warrant Officer in Canada, England, Ireland, and France. Malcolm, a farmer, married and had 3 children. He was a member of Melfort Legion Branch 30 and Quill Lake Legion Branch 37 for a total of 37 years. He died in 1983 and was buried in the Quill Lake Cemetery. MacGILLIVERY, Mildred WWII Mildred was born in Quill Lake, Saskatchewan in 1921. She joined the Women’s Division of the Royal Canadian Air Force and served in Canada. After her discharge, she became a teacher, married and had 3 children. Mildred was a member of Quill Lake Legion Branch 37 for a year. She lives in Saskatoon. MacKENZIE, William WWII William was born in 1921 in Quill Lake, Saskatchewan. He joined the Royal Canadian Armoured Corps and served with the 14th Hussars in Canada, England, and France where he was killed in action on August 23, 1944 at the age of 22. William is buried in Bretteville.
