The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 211 LAMEY, Albert Bernard Ferdinand “Barney” WWI Barney was born in 1897 in Guelph, Ontario. He joined the Canadian Army and served during World War I. Barney passed away in 1977. LANE, Reginald WWII Reginald was born in Penzance, Saskatchewan. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and served in Canada during WWII. He married, had 6 children, and farmed in Penzance and Quill Lake, Saskatchewan. He was a member of Penzance Legion Branch 226, then was issued a Life Membership with Quill Lake Legion Branch 37. He was a Legion member for a total of 53 years. Reginald died in 1999 and is buried in Penzance. LANG, Walter WWI Walter was born in Saskatchewan. He joined the Canadian Infantry and served with the 28th Battalion in Canada and in France where he was killed in action in 1918 at the age of 26. Walter is commemorated at Vimy Ridge and has no known grave. He never married.
