He joined the Army during World War II and served with the 3rd Medical Laboratory in Yokohama and Tokyo, Japan. Virgil has been a member of Tecumseh Legion Branch 133 in Stoughton, Saskatchewan for eleven years. ARMSTRONG, Brian Arthur Joseph WWII Brian was born in Keeler, Saskatchewan in 1922. He enlisted in the Army in 1942 and served with the Sherbrooke Fusiliers in England and Caen, France during WWII. He was awarded the War Medal 1939-45, the France and Germany Star and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. Brian died in 1948. ARMSTRONG, Bruce George PEACETIME Bruce was born in Limerick, Saskatchewan in 1938. He joined the Royal Canadian Navy and served in the Pacific for three years on HMCS Skeena.
