The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 177 HYMERS, Norman Roy WWII Norman was born in Glen Bain, Saskatchewan in 1921. He attended Normal School in Regina where he earned a teacher’s certificate and taught for a few years prior to enlisting in the Canadian Army in 1942. He served with the Royal Canadian Dental Corps at the Penhold, Alberta Air Force base, was discharged in 1945 and returned to farming and teaching after the war. Norman passed away in 1985. INGRAM, Brice C. WWII Brice was born in Quill Lake, Saskatchewan in 1906. He joined the Army and served as a Sergeant with the 1st Survey Regiment in Canada, England, Sicily, Italy, Holland, and Germany during WWII. Brice, a farmer and surveyor, married and had four children. He was a member of Quill Lake Legion Branch 37 for forty-four years before he died in 1990. Brice is buried in Quill Lake Cemetery. INGRAM, Jayson PEACETIME Jayson was born in Quill Lake, Saskatchewan. He served with the Royal Canadian Air Force in Canada from 1989 to Sept 10, 2010. Captain Ingram flew with the Snowbirds and was also a flying instructor. He was married.
