The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 149 HAHN, Homer H. WWII Homer was born in Delisle, Saskatchewan in 1916 but later lived in Quill Lake. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and served in Canada from 1939-1947. He married, had three children, and made his living as a carpenter. He passed away in 1973 and is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. HALLDORSON, Lloyd WWII Lloyd was born in Kamsack, Saskatchewan in 1920 but also lived in Quill Lake. He served as a gunner with the Canadian Army’s 64th Field Battery, Heavy Artillery, in Canada, England, France, Holland, Belgium, and Germany. Discharged after four years in the Army, he married but had no children. He died in 1992 and is buried in Saskatchewan’s Paswegin Cemetery. HAMEL, Everett WWII Everett was born in Zealandia, Saskatchewan in 1922 but moved to Clair (Scrip) a year later. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and served from 1941-1945 as a Corporal with Motor Transport in Canada, England and Western Europe. Everett married and had two children. He resides in Trail, British Columbia.
