He joined the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps and served as a Private in Canada and Europe from 1914-18. William married Alice Dutfield and raised five step-children. He passed away and is buried in Toronto, Ontario. ALLAN, Lena WWII Lena was born in Rose Valley in 1921. She joined the Royal Canadian Women’s Army Corps and served in Canada during World War II. Lena married and had one child. She died in 2005 and is buried in Quill Lake Cemetery in Saskatchewan. ALLEN, George Alexander David WWII George was born in Quill Lake, Saskatchewan. He joined the Royal Canadian Army and served from January 1944 to August 1946 as a Corporal with the South Alberta Regiment in Canada, Holland, France, England, and Germany. George was married. He died on June 26, 1985 and is buried in Birch Hills Cemetery.
