He joined the Army and served with the Royal Canadian Postal Corps in Canada from 1941-1945. He married and had 4 children. Fred was a member of the Legion branches in Quill Lake and Smithers for a total of twenty-seven years before he died in 1972 and was buried in the Smithers Cemetery in British Columbia. GRAHAM, Keith G. WWII Keith was born in Quill Lake, Saskatchewan in 1921. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy as a Steam Engineer in Canada, in the North Atlantic and on the high seas. He passed through the Bermuda Triangle twice while on submarine patrol and served on a corvette escorting convoys in the North Atlantic. He married, had two children, farmed and worked on oil wells until he retired. Keith has been a member of Quill Lake Legion Branch 37 for sixty-four years and has a Life Membership. GRAHAM, Norman N. WWII Norman was born in Quill Lake, Saskatchewan in 1919. He joined the Army and served with the 2nd Armoured Brigade Squadron in Canada, England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. His ship was torpedoed 2 days out of Halifax but later sailed for Britain after two weeks of refitting. Norman was a grain buyer, a farmer and was married. He was a member of Quill Lake Legion Branch 37 for sixty-two years before he passed away in 2008 and was buried in Quill Lake Cemetery.
