He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and was a radar technician while serving in Canada. Reginald died in the 1990s and was buried in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. He was married. FREEMAN, Alfred “Joe” WWI Joe was born in Wilmington, Illinois, USA. He came to live in Canada where he served in the Royal Canadian Army during World War I. He married Lucy Illsby after the war and they had one daughter. Joe was a member of Quill Lake Legion Branch 37 for a number of years and he died in 1964. FRIESEN, Francis J. WWII Francis was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 1914 and moved to Quill Lake in 1946. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and served as a Corporal in Canada from 1939-1945. Francis was a member of Quill Lake Legion Branch 37 for sixty-two years before he died in 2008 and was buried in Quill Lake Cemetery. He was married with three children.
