The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 105 DYOK, Paul WWII Paul was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 1920 and came to Quill Lake in 1930. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and served in Canada and England during WWII. He married and had two children. Paul died in 1986 and is buried in Oromocto, New Brunswick. EDWARDS, Ernest William “Ernie” WWII Ernie was born in 1925 in Toronto, Ontario. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in June 1943 at the age of 18 and served during World War II. He was discharged in 1945. In later years, Ernie moved to Arborfield where a few relatives lived, moving into Pioneer Crescent. He attended functions there and drove some residents around. Due to ill health, he is now a resident in the Arborfield Health Care Centre. Ernie has been a member of Picton Legion Branch 78. EDWARDSON, Norman Ross WWII Norman was born in 1917 in Taylorton, Saskatchewan. He joined the Army during WWII and served with the Royal Canadian Engineers, 14th Field Company, in England, Sicily and Italy. Norman was a member of Estevan Legion Branch 60 for thirty-four years before he died in 1980.
