He opened a Café called Uweeda Lunch and also cooked at Lakeside Home. William passed away in 1976. BOYLE, William R. “Bill” WWII Bill was born on June 16, 1917 in Saskatoon. He enlisted in the Army in December 1939 and served with the Saskatoon Light Infantry in Canada, the United Kingdom, Italy and Northwest Europe until he was discharged from the service on September 1, 1945, as a Corporal. William is married. BRAYFORD, D. C. WWII D. C. Brayford was born on October 22, 1922 at Halbrite, Saskatchewan. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force on August 4, 1941 and served as a pilot in Canada and the United Kingdom and left the service on September 27, 1945 as a Pilot Officer. Since the service, he was employed as a pilot with the Saskatchewan Government. D. C. is married. BRAITHWAITE, Earl V. WWII Earl was born on May 24, 1925 at Saskatoon. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force in January 1944 and served as a flight engineer in “wartime” (no location cited) and left the service on July 24, 1945 as a Sergeant. He joined Saskatoon Branch #63 of The Royal Canadian Legion and transferred in 1993 to Branch #362.
