He enlisted in 1942 (service not known) and left in 1945. M. L. Borgerson is married. BOSER, Theodore Joseph WWII Theodore was born in Reward, Saskatchewan, on August 25, 1920. He joined the Army on October 30, 1942, serving in the United Kingdom and Continental Europe. He was discharged on March 20, 1946 and worked in the construction business the last 15 years. He passed away on April 4, 1993 and was a member of the North Calgary Branch #264 of The Royal Canadian Legion. BOTHAM, Alan Grant WWII Grant was born on August 2, 1925 at Birch Hills, Saskatchewan. He enlisted on July 7, 1943 in the Army at Regina and served with the Canadian Scottish Regiment in the United Kingdom and Northwest Europe. He reports, “I suffered a shrapnel wound near Lehr in Germany on April 27, 1945 and was returned to Canada on the hospital ship Letitia in August 1945.” He left the service at Regina on September 19, 1945 as a Private. After the war, he took the Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Saskatchewan and served with National Revenue (Taxation) Department for the Federal Government from 1948-1980. Alan is married. BOT, Andrew Donald WWII Donald was born in Langenburg, Saskatchewan on December 8, 1922. He enlisted in 1942. He farmed after his discharge and in the winter he worked in bush camps sawing lumber and in the salt mines at Chaplain. He also did carpentry work in Langenburg. He married Theresa in 1949 and they raised a family of eight children and built his own home in Langenburg and retired in 1983. Don is now deceased.
